Preparation
  • Can they execute the style of the song (praise vs. worship, delicate vs. powerful, soulful vs. rock)?
  • Are they confident in the lyrics (few errors, don't need lyrics)?
  • Do they follow the melody of the song accurately?

  • Are there signs of strain (visible flexing throat muscles, flatness or grittiness in their sound)?
  • Do they have stamina throughout the audition or maintain consistent vocal energy?
